Emerald Earth Spa Closure Announcement
It is with both gratitude and sadness that I share the news that Emerald Earth Spa located in Valemount BC, will be closing its doors this fall. After 5 wonderful years of operating inside the Best Western Hotel here in Valemount, our time in this space is coming to an end.
Our official last day for spa treatments will be October 28th, 2025.
A Heartfelt Thank You
Over the years, I’ve had the honour of welcoming local residents, travelers, and guests from around the world to our little haven of relaxation in the Canadian Rockies. The support, encouragement, and kind words from our community and spa guests have meant so much. It is emotional to close this chapter, and I am deeply grateful for the memories and connections created here.
Why We’re Closing
This decision was not ours to make. We were informed that our current lease is not available for renewal, as the hotel plans to repurpose the spa space for their Vantage Hotel Co-oporation Management Team for additional office space. Since learning of this, I’ve spent months searching for a new location in Valemount. Unfortunately, suitable and affordable options remain very limited for a small spa business like ours.
What’s Next for the Spa
While we are saying goodbye (for now) to our current spa home, this is not the end of Emerald Earth Spa. We have some exciting ideas for short-term, seasonal pop-up spas, retreats, and events in 2026. These will be unique opportunities to continue offering relaxation and wellness in beautiful, inspiring settings. Stay tuned in the new year for more updates.
Gift Cards & Final Bookings
If you still have an Emerald Earth gift card, we encourage you to book your appointment soon to enjoy a treatment before closing day. Gift cards can also be redeemed anytime in the future for our natural skincare products, if you are unable to book a spa day before October 28th.

Emerald Earth Skincare Will Continue to Grow
Though our spa space is closing, our Emerald Earth Natural Skincare line will remain in full operation. Our handcrafted, plant-based products are now found in spas, salons, wellness shops, refill stores, and luxury retreats across North America. This side of the business continues to grow, and I am so excited to share more with you in the months ahead.
