COVID SAFETY PROTOCOL
INFORMATION AND DETAILS REGARDING YOUR SPA APPOINTMENT
** Our spa therapist is fully vaccinated and takes extra precautions in health and safety.
The safety of our guests and staff are our number one priority and have put the following COVID Protocol in place. These can change anytime, as we follow the rules and regulations put into place for personal care providers as per the Canadian Government.
Please read carefully prior to booking and your appointment, and contact us directly for any questions and concern.
** UPDATED January 2023:
While masks and COVID protocols are no longer mandatory as per the Canada Health and the BC government. We still take extra time, precautions and pride in our cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety.
If you are feeling unwell, have symptoms, or have been in close contact with some who has COVID or is unwell, we ask that you reschedule your appointment to a future date.
If you have and symptoms of a cold, such as coughing, sneezing etc, we ask that you wear a mask to minimize speed of any viruses.
If you would like your therapist to wear a mask for you appointment, please ask, we will not be offended and will be happy to do so to make you feel more comfortable in our space.
** UPDATED January 2022:
When arriving at The Valemount Best Western Hotel, Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time. You will be required to wear a mask to enter the Hotel. Follow all COVID rules and guidelines put in place by the hotel, and use sanitization stations throughout the hotel. Make your way up to level 2 via the stairs or lift, wait in the chairs at the top of the stairs, your therapist will greet you there, and lead you to the Spa Treatment Room.
Do not bring anyone else with you to your appointment.
It is mandatory that you and your therapist wear a mask. Please bring your own mask, if you don’t have one, we can provide you a disposable one. Your mask is not to be removed at any point unless you are instructed to do so. Please have your mask on prior to arrival, hand sanitizer will be provided at the entrance, as well as within the treatment room. You will be asked to sanitize when you enter the building, as well as after your treatment.
Any guests that are ill or displaying symptoms will be prohibited from entering the spa. If you have been around someone who has recently travelled, is experiencing symptoms of COVID, or themselves are unwell please contact us to cancel your booking.
Pre screening questionnaire and health history intake forms will be sent via email to be filled out before your appointment. Please check your “JUNK MAIL” for this if you do not see it in your INBOX.
All common areas, treatment spaces, and high touch points will be cleaned and disinfected in between each appointment creating a safe sterile space for each guest.
We are currently only accepting four bookings per scheduled work day, with 30 mins between each client to allow deep cleaning and sanitization of all surfaces.
Your therapist will be wearing PPE including a mask and apron, a face shield will be worn when necessary. These items are fresh for each new client.
Take comfort in knowing you will have a safe, relaxing, enjoyable treatment! As we adjust to the flow of things and get comfortable with our new normal, we thank each of you so much for your cooperation and understanding.
* Please note that the pool and hot tub facilities have limited capacity due to COVID-19. Please inform us if you wish to use these facilities prior to your treatment so a time slot can be booked for you.
** Our spa therapist has been fully vaccinated and is in good health.
